Our signature scent. When I moved back to Texas, I lived in a Spanish-mission style home that had a variety of fragrant smells in my home garden: Texas cedar, leather, rosemary, cactus blossom, and grapefruit.
Inspired by the idea of scents bringing you back to a place, I blended all of these together to create Hacienda: the candle that launched Casa Bungo.

Growing up in Texas, I loved the scent of magnolia blooms in the summertime. Since moving to Alabama, I’ve grown an even deeper appreciation for them. I love seeing people decorate their mailboxes with magnolia leaves and decorating their homes with magnolia garland during the holidays. It’s a southern staple scent.

Welcome to Joe’s tomato garden, where plenty of tomatoes grow next to the zinnias. Joe’s a wonderful gardener we’d grow so many tomatoes that we had to put them on our front porch. Our neighbors would come by, take them, and bake us tomato pies. This scent brings me back to those memories of picking tomatoes with Joe and Sam.
